Germany Intends to Transfer Air Defense Systems, Tanks, Infantry Fighting Vehicles and Ammunition to Kyiv for 600 Million Euros

In particular, US President Joe Biden announced the adoption of a “difficult decision” to transfer cluster artillery munitions to Kyiv. In turn, France announced its intention to send SCALP long-range cruise missiles to Ukraine, hitting targets at a distance of up to 560 km.

Now it has become known about Germany’s plans to transfer weapons to Kyiv in the amount of 600 million euros. Spiegel writes about this, citing unnamed sources in the German government circles.

The material says that Berlin plans to supply the Armed Forces with several Patriot launchers and, probably, other air defense systems. In addition, the package will include Marder infantry fighting vehicles, Leopard 1 tanks , drones and about 20,000 artillery shells.

The publication claims that Germany can officially announce the aforementioned assistance to Ukraine today.
