Serbia defeated Israel 9-0 in ice hockey’s Women’s World Championship in Division III Group B on Wednesday evening.
Serbian lead the three-team group with a 3-0 win-loss record and will qualify for Group A unless they lose to Bosnia and Herzegovina by more than 11 goals on Friday.
Bosnia currently have a 1-1 record, while Israel remain winless in three games.
Serbia’s Valentina Vrhoci scored a hat-trick against Israel, while her teammates Milica Valcek, Ivett Vastag, Jana Radovic, Andjelija Vuckovic, Elena Sekulic and Ana Milodanovic contributed one goal each.
Israel and Bosnia will face each other on Thursday.
