Serbian Support for Putin

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik announced their support to Russian President Vladimir Putin for the rebellion movement of the mercenary group Wagner .

Vucic said that Serbia will not support any coup in Russia, Turkey or the United States. The Serbian leader said that although the damage was great, Putin regained control.

Vucic said he did not doubt that the insurgency movement in Russia was with foreign aid.

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic stated that Serbia does not interfere in the internal affairs of other states and that this is the approach towards the Russian Federation and that Belgrade supports official bodies in Russia. Dacic commented that it was very surprising for him that a paramilitary formation became such an important factor in defense.

Dodik, on the other hand, stated that what happened in Russia was followed with great care in Republika Srpska and conveyed his support to Putin in maintaining peace and order in his country.
